Houseboat Cruise

Cruise through the framed backwaters of the Vembanad lake on traditional KETTUVALLAM (house Boats) popularly known as Rice Boats.

The fully furnished KETTUVALLAMS single and double bed roomed boats with bathrooms and living area offer you the chance to view from close quarters the life and culture of Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala and its backwaters.
The cruise at a leisurely relaxing pace, takes you through the quaint backwater villages on the banks of the numerous canals and rivers criss-crossing kuttanad. There are halts to give you a chance to stretch your legs on the shore.
On board traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian Kerala cuisine is served. The cruise also takes you to exotic backwater locales like Kumarakom, Pathiramanal, Thanneermukkom, Amrithapuri(Vallikkavu) and, if your heart gets the better of your head, you can just cruise along aimlessly in the lazy, placid waters to watch the amber sun give way to a starry sky... One bed room and two bed room house boats all fitted with solar eleric panelsare available.

 Dinner: Rice, chicken, Chapatti, dal curry, salad.

 Breakfast: Bread toast & Butter/Jam, (kerala breakfast if you prefer).

 Seasonal fruits like papaya, grapes, Pine apple, Mango, Jack fruit, banana, apple etc will be made available at no extra cost, bed time glass of hot milk, candle light dinner on Houseboat.
