Indian Beaches
Most of the beaches in India are exotic and present spectacular effects and memorable experiences to the traveller. Indian beaches attracts tourists from all over for the numerous activities. Whether it be Beaches of Goa or Beaches of Kerala or Beaches of Pondicherry or Beaches of Kovalam or Beaches of Mangalore or Beaches of Mahabalipuram or Beaches of Andaman or Beaches of Lakshadweep one and all has its own charm and beauty.

Goa has a reputation. Psychedelic trance, spiked lassis, rave revelries, flowing alcohol, heady hedonism. It’s the black sheep of India, alluring and more seductive than any Khajuraho mural. But Goa is also unbelievably quaint – all fading villas and gabled roofs and a surfeit of green. Goa constantly surprises, being brazen and demure at the same time. Eventually, it makes you fall in love with its idiosyncrasies

Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerela, with three adjacent crescent beaches. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc.

Andaman -: India at its remote best - white sandy beaches, transparent waters and a vivid marine life. Excellent snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities await you here as do stunning sunrises across the sea. The dazzling tropical beaches and the thick rainforests will take your breath away.

Podicherry -: This curious little town seems to have its own guardian sea, lashing the boulevard with froth and roars. The sea is deep blue and spotted with silhouettes of fishing boats that bring in fresh catch everyday to be served in Vietnamese, French, Indian and Continental cuisine.

Mahabalipuram beach attracts thousands of tourists throughout the year. While at the beach you may sun bathe, relax and unwind yourself. At the same time you may check out the magnificent monuments besides the beautiful beaches. The rock cut art is amazingly attractive. For the more religious tourists there are the shore temple, rathas, arjuna's penance that are worth visiting. A crocodile farm, snake venom extracting centre, schools of art and sculpture and a wide choice of resorts along the beach draw holiday-seekers all round the year.

Mangalore-: 357 kms west of Bangalore is the district headquarters of Dakshina Kannada - Mangalore. With an important port, this coastal town is a major commercial centre. Mangalore could be your entry point to Beach Country - with its virgin and unexplored beaches. It has several famous pilgrim centres. It is a cosmopolitan city, leader in more than one way in banking, private entrepreneurship and in general awareness amongst people.

Lakshadweep -:The islands look like emeralds in the vast expanse of blue sea. Varying hues of turquoise blue translucent water surround them. Coral atolls, the matchless marine environment with myriad colours resulting in complex interaction of animate and inanimate things. Built on ancient volcanic formations are the Lakshadweep (meaning a hundred thousand islands), the tiniest Union Territory of India. It consists of 12 atolls, 3 reefs and 5 submerged banks. The atolls poised on submarine banks, harbour 36 islands having an area of 32 Sq.Km. Of these, 10 islands are inhabited namely Agatti, Amini, Andrott, Bitra, Chetlat, Kadmat, Kalpeni, Kavaratti, Kiltan and Minicoy. The islands lie about 220-440 Kms from the Malabar coast between 8° and 12° 13' North Latitude and 71° & 74° East Longitude. Kavaratti is the Administrative Headquarter of the Union Territory.
