Best Season to visit
Port Blair and the rest of the region have a tropical humid climate with a monsoon season that lasts for eight months. The best season to visit is between November and March when the weather is relatively dry and the sea breeze that blows over the land keeps it pleasant. The period between December and January in particular is considered as the peak season.

By Air --->Jet Airways has daily flights from Chennai to Port Blair, while Air Sahara flies to Port Blair from Kolkata. Indian Airlines and Air Deccan also operate daily flights from Kolkata and Chennai to Port Blair.
